Accountant – MNC

Our client, a reputable multinational corporation, is seeking a stable and experienced Accountant to join their finance team. The successful candidate will support month-end closing and handle full sets of accounts for four entities in Hong Kong.

Job Responsibilities

• Oversee and review month-end closing processes.
• Handle full sets of accounts for entities in Hong Kong.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
• Prepare financial statements and management reports.
• Support the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Assist in audits and liaise with external auditors.
• Monitor and reconcile financial discrepancies.
• Provide guidance and support to junior accounting staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA) preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience, with a focus on month-end closing.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
• Proficient in accounting software and MS Office applications.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
