Assistant Finance Manager – Fast Growing Firm
Our client is a leading and fast growing firm experiencing exciting business expansion. They are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Finance Manager to join their dynamic finance team.
Responsibilities:
1. Financial Reporting:
- Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
- Ensure compliance with international financial reporting standards (IFRS) and local statutory requirements
- Assist in the preparation of management reports and financial analysis for decision-making purposes
2. Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):
- Support the budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with various business units
- Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance against budgets and forecasts
- Develop and maintain financial models to support business decision-making and strategic planning
3. Internal Control and Process Improvement:
- Assist in the implementation and maintenance of effective internal control systems\
- Identify areas for process improvements and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and implement best practices
4. Stakeholder Communication:
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, tax authorities, and other finance professionals
- Provide clear and concise financial information to management and other relevant parties
- Support the preparation of presentations and reports for senior management and the board of directors
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is highly desirable
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant finance experience, including experience in a Big 4 accounting firm and commercial settings
- Proven track record in financial reporting, FP&A, and internal control
- Experience working in a multinational corporation is a strong advantage
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
- Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality work
- Proactive and self-motivated, with a desire to seek new challenges and contribute to process improvements
