Assistant Finance Manager – Fast Growing Firm

Our client is a leading and fast growing firm experiencing exciting business expansion. They are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Finance Manager to join their dynamic finance team.

Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting:

  • Prepare accurate and timely financial reports, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Ensure compliance with international financial reporting standards (IFRS) and local statutory requirements
  • Assist in the preparation of management reports and financial analysis for decision-making purposes

2. Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A):

  • Support the budgeting and forecasting processes, working closely with various business units
  • Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance against budgets and forecasts
  • Develop and maintain financial models to support business decision-making and strategic planning

3. Internal Control and Process Improvement:

  • Assist in the implementation and maintenance of effective internal control systems\
  • Identify areas for process improvements and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and accuracy
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and implement best practices

4. Stakeholder Communication:

  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors, tax authorities, and other finance professionals
  • Provide clear and concise financial information to management and other relevant parties
  • Support the preparation of presentations and reports for senior management and the board of directors

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
  • Professional accounting qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, or equivalent) is highly desirable
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant finance experience, including experience in a Big 4 accounting firm and commercial settings
  • Proven track record in financial reporting, FP&A, and internal control
  • Experience working in a multinational corporation is a strong advantage
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams
  • Proficiency in financial systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Detail-oriented and committed to delivering high-quality work
  • Proactive and self-motivated, with a desire to seek new challenges and contribute to process improvements
