Chief Executive Officer (CEO) – IPO

Our client is a fast growing firm with business presence in HK, China and APAC regions. They are seeking a CEO with a hands-on approach, exceptional leadership, and business development skills, and a proven track record of successful IPO experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide dynamic leadership and vision to guide the company through the IPO process.
• Develop and execute the company’s business strategies to attain the goals of the board and shareholders.
• Prepare and implement comprehensive business plans to facilitate achievement by planning cost-effective operations and market development activities.
• Ensure company policies and legal guidelines are communicated from the top down and followed at all times.
• Communicate and maintain trust relationships with shareholders, business partners, and authorities.
• Drive the company’s financial performance by managing risks and overseeing the company’s fiscal activity, including budgeting, reporting, and auditing.
• Assure all legal and regulatory documents are filed and monitor compliance with laws and regulations.
• Work with the CFO to prepare for the company’s IPO and ensure the process is carried out efficiently and in accordance with all regulatory requirements.
• Provide strategic input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the company (e.g., evaluation of potential alliances, acquisitions/divestitures, and major investments).
• Act as the public face of the company and represent the company at civic, industry-specific, and other public events.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a CEO or in a similar executive role with a successful track record in preparing a company for an IPO.
• Experience in developing profitable strategies and implementing the company vision.
• Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles.
• Familiarity with diverse business functions such as marketing, PR, finance, etc.
• In-depth knowledge of corporate governance, general management best practices, and corporate finance and performance management principles.
• An entrepreneurial mindset with outstanding organizational and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and public speaking skills.
• Analytical abilities and problem-solving skills.
• Degree in Business, Finance, or relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus.
