Cybersecurity Manager – Tech Startup
Our client is a security-conscious tech startup that is committed to protecting their customers’ data and privacy. They are seeking experienced Cybersecurity Manager to join their team and help them build and maintain secure systems and infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement secure architectures and security controls
- Conduct security assessments and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities
- Monitor and respond to security incidents and breaches
- Develop and enforce security policies, procedures, and best practices
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure secure coding practices
- Stay up-to-date with the latest security threats and technologies
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Cybersecurity Specialist in a tech startup environment
- Strong knowledge of security frameworks, standards, and best practices (e.g., NIST, ISO 27001, OWASP)
- Experience with security tools and technologies (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, firewalls, VPNs)
- Familiarity with cloud security and containerization technologies (e.g., AWS, GCP, Docker, Kubernetes)
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
- Passion for staying ahead of the curve in the constantly evolving cybersecurity landscape
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
