Ecommerce Marketing Manager – Technology & Gadgets
Our client is a rapidly expanding global smartphone and gadgets brand making waves in the consumer technology space. They are seeking a strategic Ecommerce Marketing Manager to drive their online sales growth and strengthen their digital commerce presence across multiple regions.
Position Overview:
This is an exciting opportunity for a results-driven Ecommerce Marketing Manager to shape the digital commerce strategy for an innovative technology brand. The role requires someone who excels at optimizing online sales funnels, driving conversion rates, and scaling ecommerce operations across global markets. You will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive ecommerce strategies that maximize online revenue, enhance customer experience, and expand market share across digital channels.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute comprehensive ecommerce strategies to drive online sales growth, improve conversion rates, and maximize customer lifetime value
- Manage and optimize performance across multiple ecommerce platforms including brand websites, marketplaces (Amazon, Alibaba, etc.), and regional platforms
- Lead digital commerce campaigns including paid search, shopping ads, programmatic display, retargeting, and affiliate marketing programs
- Oversee product listing optimization, pricing strategies, inventory management, and promotional calendar planning
- Analyze ecommerce metrics, sales data, and customer behavior to identify optimization opportunities and inform strategic decisions
- Develop and implement conversion rate optimization (CRO) strategies through A/B testing, UX improvements, and personalization
- Manage relationships with ecommerce platform partners, payment providers, and logistics partners to ensure seamless operations
- Create and execute online merchandising strategies, including product categorization, cross-selling, and upselling initiatives
- Collaborate with supply chain and operations teams to ensure inventory availability and fulfillment efficiency
- Monitor competitive landscape and implement pricing and promotional strategies to maintain market competitiveness
- Drive customer acquisition and retention through email marketing, loyalty programs, and customer journey optimization
Requirements:
- 5-8 years of marketing experience with at least 3 years focused on ecommerce, preferably within technology or consumer electronics
- Proven track record of driving significant online revenue growth and achieving ecommerce KPIs
- Strong experience with major ecommerce platforms (Shopify, Magento, etc.) and marketplace management
- Expertise in ecommerce analytics tools (Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics), attribution modeling, and conversion tracking
- Proficiency in performance marketing channels including Google Ads, Facebook Ads, and programmatic advertising
- Experience with ecommerce optimization tools (A/B testing platforms, personalization engines, product recommendation systems)
- Strong understanding of SEO for ecommerce, including technical SEO and product page optimization
- Data-driven mindset with ability to analyze complex datasets and translate insights into actionable strategies
- Experience managing P&L responsibility and achieving revenue targets
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Ecommerce or related field required; MBA or relevant certifications advantageous
- Fluency in English (written and verbal) mandatory, with additional languages being a plus for this global role
- Deep understanding of online consumer behavior and ecommerce trends in the technology sector
