ESG Risk Manager

Are you a proactive problem-solver with a keen understanding of ESG risks? We are seeking an experienced ESG Risk Manager to identify, assess, and mitigate ESG-related risks across our client’s organisation. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop and implement effective risk management strategies, contributing to our long-term sustainability and resilience.

Responsibilities:

• Identify, assess, and manage ESG-related risks across the organization
• Develop and implement ESG risk management strategies and frameworks
• Conduct ESG risk assessments and due diligence on investments, projects, and suppliers
• Monitor and report on ESG risk exposure and mitigation efforts
• Collaborate with various departments to integrate ESG risk considerations into decision-making processes
• Stay informed about emerging ESG risk trends, regulations, and best practices
• Engage with stakeholders on ESG risk management and communicate risk mitigation efforts

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Business, Finance, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in ESG, sustainability, risk management, or related fields
• In-depth knowledge of ESG risk assessment methodologies and frameworks
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
• Proficiency in risk management tools and systems
• Fluency in English and Chinese (Cantonese and/or Mandarin)
