Our client is a global fashion brand with rapid expansion plan, they are are seeking a talented and driven Fashion Design Assistant to join their fast-growing product and design team. The ideal candidate will have a degree in fashion design, a keen fashion sense, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the Product and Design Director in all aspects of product development and design
• Contribute to the creative process, from concept ideation to final product execution
• Conduct market research and trend analysis to inform design decisions
• Source materials, trims, and accessories for product development
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sourcing, production, and marketing
• Create and maintain detailed product specifications and tech packs
• Assist in fittings and provide feedback for product improvements
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or related field
• 0-3 years of experience in fashion design or product development
• Strong portfolio showcasing your design aesthetic and technical skills
• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team setting
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure
• Passion for fashion and staying current with industry trends

Preferred Qualifications:

• Knowledge of garment construction and production processes
• Experience with sustainable design practices
• Understanding of e-commerce and digital product merchandising
