Finance Manager 30K-40K, Urgent Hire
Our client is a fast-growing firm in the pet health industry, they are currently working on a few finance projects in internal control, compliance and process improvements, they are seeking a skilled Finance Manager to join our team.
Job Description:
The Finance Manager will be responsible for overseeing the financial operations of our company, including accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting and experience working with financial systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
- Develop and manage budgets and financial forecasts
- Implement and maintain a new financial system to streamline processes
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making
- Manage relationships with external stakeholders, such as banks, auditors, and tax authorities
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Experience in finance and accounting in similar roles (open to any years)
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards
- Experience with financial system implementations
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Familiar with XERO or Quickbooks is a plus
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Immediately available for employment
