About Our Client:
Our client, a renowned multinational logistics company, is seeking a detail-oriented Finance Manager to strengthen their regional finance operations.
Position Overview:
Our client requires a Finance Manager to oversee regional month-end closing processes and lead financial system implementation initiatives. This role demands strong technical accounting skills combined with project management capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and oversee the complete regional month-end closing process, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting
- Coordinate with country finance teams to meet closing deadlines and resolve discrepancies
- Lead system implementation projects from a finance perspective, including design, testing, and deployment phases
- Ensure compliance with group accounting policies and statutory requirements across the region
- Review and approve journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements
- Develop and maintain internal controls and process documentation
- Prepare monthly management reports and analysis for regional leadership
- Manage relationships with external auditors and support audit processes
- Coach and develop team members to build capability within the finance function
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; Professional qualification (CPA/ACCA) required
- 8-10 years of accounting/finance experience with at least 3 years in a managerial role
- Strong technical accounting knowledge and experience with month-end closing processes
- Proven experience in financial system implementation (ERP systems preferred)
- Experience in logistics or supply chain industry is highly desirable
- Strong project management and stakeholder management skills
- Excellent command of English and Chinese (Cantonese/Mandarin)
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
