Head Of Brand & Merchandising (High end retail fashion)

Our client is a high end retail fashion brand and they are looking for a Head of Brand and merchandising. This person will work closely with the team and internal departments to create relevant merchandise and brand development strategy that drive sales and contribute turnover business results across the assigned business categories in Macau region. Previous experience in handling multi brands will be required.

Key responsibilities:

Merchandise & Sales Planning

  • Be responsible for the budgeting and P&L of assigned brand portfolio to maximize profit, through analyzing regular reports to identify key sales drivers, as well as recommending action plans for improvements of underperforming areas
  • Formulate OTB, seasonal order and brand mix, category and assortment plans, pricing strategy etc. in accordance with the corporate image of the Group
  • Drive and monitor launch plan, merchandise allocation and consolidation, as well as replenishment and returns for optimal inventory level and sales-to-stock ratio
  • Analyze sales data and business KPIs regularly, and adjust business strategy and promotion activities in accordance with annual sales targets
  • Collaborate with Retail, Marketing and VM to define and drive quality seasonal product training, display & presentation, promotion campaigns and events etc.
  • Liaise with principals and vendors to strengthen supply chain and resolve shipment, pricing and purchase order issues
  • Hold regular communication session for sales and operation review, feedback and comments resolutions

Brand and Market Development

  • Provide insight to Management and analyze data to understand market trends, competitor activities, behaviors of target audience and advise management for improvement areas
  • Maintain and develop brand portfolio, and bring in new potential brands and collaboration projects.
  • Ensure all new stores opening activities are fulfilled in line with time and cost of the business plan
  • Develop and refine CRM to build, maintain and leverage a quality & loyal customer base

Team Development

  • Lead, develop, and guide the team to achieve consistently high performance with good team morale
