Logistics Specialist – Air Freight
Lauris Walton is working with a fast-growing online fashion company based in Central. The company sells fashion products online globally and has a young, energetic team culture. They need a Logistics Specialist to join their supply chain team.
Position Overview
We are looking for a Logistics Specialist who knows air freight well. You will manage global shipping for our e-commerce business. This is a good job for someone with logistics experience who wants to help improve processes and grow with the company. Experience in air freight is important, and e-commerce experience is a big plus.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage air freight shipments to different countries, making sure products arrive on time for online customers
- Work with freight forwarders, airlines, and customs agents to get good prices and reliable service
- Prepare shipping documents, track shipments, and solve any problems during delivery
- Keep clear records of all shipping activities and follow international shipping rules
- Find ways to improve processes and make the supply chain work better
- Check shipping data to find better routes, save money, and deliver faster
- Create and update work procedures for the logistics team
- Work with other teams like purchasing, warehouse, customer service, and e-commerce to make everything run smoothly
- Track important numbers like delivery time, shipping cost, and customer happiness
- Help the company enter new markets by setting up shipping solutions
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience in air freight logistics (e-commerce experience is very welcome)
- Understand how e-commerce works, including last-mile delivery, returns, and customer expectations
- Know international shipping rules, customs processes, and shipping documents
- Can use logistics software and e-commerce systems; good at Excel for data and reports
- Good at solving problems quickly in a busy e-commerce environment
- Can work alone and handle many tasks at the same time
- Can communicate in English, Cantonese and Mandarin
- Pay attention to details and stay organized even when busy
- Think ahead to prevent problems before they happen
- Comfortable working with people from different countries and time zones
- Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or similar is good but not required if you have experience
