Manager, IT Infrastructure (Multi-national company)
Our client is a rapidly expanding MNC and they are looking for a Manager, IT infrastructure to join their IT team. This person will lead a small team, reporting to the IT director. This person will be responsible to manage the IT infrastructure team and ensure the stable operation of servers, networks, and systems to support business operations.
Key responsibilities includes:
- Manage a team of IT infrastructure engineers and technicians. Provide leadership and guidance to the team.
- Monitor and maintain the IT infrastructure including servers, networks, backup systems to ensure high availability and performance.
- Manage IT infrastructure projects including upgrades, migrations, and deployments. Ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
- Evaluate and recommend new IT infrastructure tools, technologies, and services to improve operations and security.
- Develop and implement IT infrastructure policies and procedures. Ensure all systems and infrastructure are secure and compliant with security policies.
- Prepare operational budgets and reports related to the IT infrastructure department.
- Work with other IT and business heads to understand infrastructure needs and priorities. Align infrastructure roadmap to support key business initiatives.
To succeed in this key role, you will have at least 8 years of experience in managing IT infrastructure.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
- Expertise in infrastructure technologies like servers, storage, networking, and security.
- Experience with disaster recovery, business continuity planning, and risk management.
- Leadership, communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to lead and motivate a team.
- Project management skills with ability to prioritize tasks.
- Keen interest in emerging IT technologies and business alignment.
- Some experience with budgeting and reporting.
