Managing Director – Insolvency and Restructuring

Our client is a leading professional services firm specializing in insolvency and restructuring. With a strong reputation in the industry, they provide expert guidance and solutions to clients navigating complex financial challenges. As they continue to expand their practice, they are seeking a highly experienced Managing Director to join our team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive business development efforts, leveraging your extensive network and industry relationships to identify and secure new clients and opportunities.
  • Serve as a key appointment taker, managing high-profile insolvency and restructuring cases from start to finish.
  • Provide strategic guidance and technical expertise to clients, helping them navigate complex financial situations and develop effective restructuring plans.
  • Lead and mentor a team of professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
  • Collaborate with other practice areas within the firm to provide comprehensive solutions to clients.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of industry trends, regulatory changes, and best practices to ensure our services remain at the forefront of the industry.
  • Represent the firm at industry events, conferences, and media opportunities, enhancing our brand reputation and market position.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of the firm’s overall growth strategy.
  • Ensure the highest standards of professional ethics, quality, and client satisfaction are maintained throughout the practice.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field. Advanced degree (e.g., MBA, CPA) is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in insolvency and restructuring, with a proven track record of success in a leadership role.
  • Deep technical expertise in insolvency and restructuring, including a thorough understanding of relevant laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Strong business development skills, with a demonstrated ability to build and maintain client relationships at the highest levels.
  • Proven experience as an appointment taker, with a track record of successfully managing complex insolvency and restructuring cases.
  • Exceptional leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop creative solutions to complex financial challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and commitment to client success.
