Project Coordinator – Supply Chain Management (Hong Kong)

Our client, a leading company in the industry, is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Project Coordinator to join their expanding Ocean Freight Procurement team in Hong Kong. This exciting opportunity will allow you to play a crucial role in ensuring the successful completion of supply chain projects while working closely with project teams and management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather and analyze business requirements, supporting process mapping and documentation efforts
• Create and oversee project plans, ensuring projects are completed on time and meet all deliverables
• Coordinate project planning, resource allocation, and progress monitoring
• Proactively identify and address project issues and risks, collaborating with stakeholders to develop effective solutions
• Liaise with various teams to ensure seamless project execution and completion
• Provide support for reporting and supply chain system maintenance as required
• Assist the manager with ad hoc tasks as needed

Ideal Candidate Profile:

• Hold at least a tertiary education with a minimum of 4 years’ relevant experience, ideally gained in logistics departments of freight forwarders, buyers, or sourcing offices
• Demonstrate a strong track record of successfully managing supply chain projects
• Possess excellent written and spoken English skills
• Exhibit outstanding communication abilities, capable of presenting complex solutions in a clear and articulate manner
• Display strong interpersonal skills and the ability to excel in a multicultural team setting
• Employ a process-driven approach with exceptional problem-solving skills
• Showcase the ability to multitask, remain organized, and work effectively under time pressures
• Possess the confidence and skill to present issues to senior stakeholders
• Demonstrate extensive knowledge of supply chain processes, ocean freight market dynamics, and digital solutions
