Quality Manager – MNC

Key Responsibilities:
1. Coordinate quality aspects of new range development projects, ensuring product compliance, safety, and quality.
2. Maintain Quality Management Plans for all ranges, conducting audits and inspections to ensure timely product launches.
3. Identify compliance, safety, quality, and labelling requirements for product ranges, updating relevant documentation.
4. Provide quality/technical support to Sales and Program Management, defining quality guidelines for new ranges.
5. Investigate product issues, collaborate with the Quality Manager and suppliers to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
6. Manage Quality department costs effectively, ensuring maximum value for money from all providers.
7. Develop and evaluate new factories, continuously managing suppliers to ensure requirements are met through on-site audits.
8. Provide quality engineering support for plastic injection/compression molding lines, improving processes and resolving issues.
9. Monitor suppliers’ quality performance at all stages of the manufacturing process, rejecting products that fail to meet expectations.
10. Document inspection outcomes, recommend process improvements, and resolve quality-related issues in a timely manner.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field. Advanced degree (e.g., Master’s) is a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in quality management, preferably within the manufacturing or consumer goods industry.
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems, such as ISO 9001, and relevant industry standards and regulations.
- Experience with product compliance, safety, and labelling requirements.
- Familiarity with plastic injection/compression molding processes and defect analysis.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve quality issues effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in MS Office and quality management software tools.
- Willingness to travel to supplier sites for audits and inspections as needed.
- Fluency in English; proficiency in additional European languages is a plus.
