Relationship Manager (VP / AD level)
Our client is a rapidly expanding multi family office offering multiple asset classes including public securities, structured products, private direct investments, and private fund of funds. The family office manages assets for the owners as well as third party institutional and professional investors.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, developing trust and delivering the highest degree of client service standards
- Act as the primary point of contact for all managed clients, ensuring their needs are addressed promptly and effectively
- Understand clients’ investment and ancillary wealth management needs and propose appropriate solutions, providing expert advice and guidance
- Collaborate with internal and external counterparties, such as in-house investment teams, banks, legal counsel, tax advisors, trustees, and other relevant parties, to coordinate client needs effectively
- Identify and source new opportunities for AUM growth and client acquisition through business development, referral partnership and networking activities
- Support other client and business development projects as required, contributing to the overall success of the firm.
Requirements:
- University level education, preferably in finance, business or a related discipline
- Solid experience in client-facing roles within private banks, multi-family offices, external asset managers or wealth management firms as a relationship manager for ultra-high-net-worth individuals or families
- Excellent knowledge of financial market and investment products including but not limited to equities, bonds, FX, public market and private market funds
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Good command of both spoken and written English and Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin)
- Strong in multi-tasking, mature mindset, able to work under pressure, be highly flexible, proactive and organized
