Senior Accountant / Assistant Finance Manager – Global MNC
About Our Client
Our client is a prominent global MNC with strong Asia Pacific operations, offering an exciting career opportunity within their Hong Kong office. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented finance professional seeking exposure in a dynamic, multinational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support monthly and annual financial reporting, preparing management reports for decision-making
- Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis for various business units and projects
- Ensure compliance with local tax laws and company policies
- Help maintain and improve internal controls and accounting processes
- Work closely with business partners to provide financial data, reports, and analysis
- Assist with payroll, compensation, and benefits tasks together with HR reporting
- Liaise with regional teams on collaborative assignments
Requirements
- Professional accounting qualification (Degree in Accountancy, ACCA, or equivalent)
- At least 6 years’ accounting/finance experience in a commercial environment
- Hands-on experience with payroll, compensation & benefits is a plus
- Strong background in reporting, analysis, and internal control procedures
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
- Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel; able to handle financial modeling
- Experience in multinational or matrix organizations valued
- Good communication in both English and Mandarin
- Valid passport; willing to travel occasionally if needed
- Detail-minded, organized, and strong problem-solving skills
