Senior Financial Analyst / Assistant FP&A Manager – Regional

Our client is a reputable MNC, they are in search of a proactive, business-savvy Senior Financial Analyst or Assistant Finance Manager to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong accounting background and readiness to manage their APAC finance team. This opportunity is ideal for a self-starter with a strong sense of responsibility and immediate availability.

Job Responsibilities:

• Oversee the APAC finance team to ensure the efficient and effective operation of daily finance activities.
• Deliver accurate and timely management reports and financial data to senior management and department heads, and initiate necessary follow-up actions.
• Maintain the accuracy and integrity of data in the Oracle system.
• Prepare financial budgets and forecasts for the business team.
• Review client and supplier service contracts, highlight potential issues, and provide financial advice and recommendations.
• Provide project teams with support on budgeting and forecasting, timely invoicing and collection, and periodic project performance reviews.
• Ensure compliance with local statutory reporting and Group Accounting Policies.
• Manage statutory audits and oversee the compilation of financial statements in accordance with relevant accounting standards and statutory requirements.
• Support the development of effective controls for financial risk management.
• Conduct ad-hoc analysis as needed.

Role Requirements:

• Proactive team player attitude with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• High level of organization and self-motivation, with the capability to work independently.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Fluency in Cantonese, English, and Mandarin.
• Knowledge in China tax requirements and intercompany trading along with onshore and offshore client contracts.
• Qualified Accountant with audit experience.
• Minimum of 6 years’ experience, at least 2 years in a similar financial role.
• Candidates with more experience will be considered for the Assistant Finance Manager role.
• Prior exposure in the professional service industry will be an advantage.
• Degree holder in Accountancy, Finance, or Business-related disciplines.
• Immediate availability is preferred.
