Shipping Officer – Sea Freight (Global)

Our client, a leading multinational corporation, is seeking an experienced Shipping Officer to manage global sea freight operations. This role requires an independent, detail-oriented professional who can also work well as part of a team.

Job Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate global sea freight shipments.
• Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
• Prepare and process shipping documents and customs declarations.
• Monitor shipment schedules and track cargo movements.
• Communicate with shipping lines, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders.
• Resolve any issues related to shipping and logistics promptly.
• Maintain accurate records of all shipments and transactions.
• Work closely with the logistics and supply chain teams to optimize processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in sea freight shipping.
• Strong knowledge of global shipping regulations and procedures.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficient in MS Office and logistics software.
