Technical Writer / Documentation Specialist
Our client is a user-focused tech startup that is looking for skilled Technical Writer and Documentation Specialist to join their team and help them create clear, concise, and accurate documentation for their products and services.
Responsibilities:
- Create user guides, tutorials, API documentation, and other technical content
- Collaborate with product, engineering, and design teams to ensure documentation aligns with product features and user needs
- Maintain and update existing documentation to ensure accuracy and relevance
- Conduct user research and gather feedback to inform documentation improvements
- Develop and maintain documentation style guides and standards
- Contribute to the development of documentation processes and best practices
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Technical Writing, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer or Documentation Specialist in a tech startup environment
- Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills
- Ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear and concise language
- Familiarity with documentation tools and platforms (e.g., Markdown, Confluence, GitHub)
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple documentation projects simultaneously
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
