Manager / Senior Manager – Financial Planning & Analysis FP&A

Our client, a dynamic and growing firm, is seeking a highly skilled and independent Manager or Senior Manager to lead their Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) function. Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in developing and implementing a robust FP&A framework from the ground up.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and establish a comprehensive set of FP&A reports and processes to support informed decision-making and drive business performance
• Conduct in-depth data analysis to identify trends, insights, and opportunities for improvement
• Design and implement financial models, forecasts, and budgets to support strategic planning and resource allocation
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, understand business needs, and deliver actionable insights
• Streamline and automate manual reporting processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular updates to senior management
• Identify and mitigate financial risks, and recommend strategies for optimization and growth
• Continuously improve FP&A processes, tools, and methodologies to ensure best practices and alignment with business objectives

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• Proven experience in FP&A, with a strong track record of developing and implementing financial reporting and analysis frameworks
• Advanced proficiency in financial modeling, data analysis, and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI etc.)
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to derive insights from complex financial data
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex financial concepts to non-financial stakeholders
• Highly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Self-motivated and proactive, with a willingness to “roll up sleeves” and take ownership of projects from start to finish
• Collaborative and team-oriented, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build effective relationships across the organization
